Lydia and AJ chose a date to get married that no one should ever forget 11 11 11! Despite warnings of rain, it was a gorgeous day at Heritage Park in La Verne for their ceremony. We had such fun photographing Greg and Faith's wedding recently. Despite rain warnings we had a beautiful day in Blythe! We got some beautiful photos in Faith's Father's Cotton fields. Then the reception was at the Robinson Farms where they transformed a melon warehouse into a beautiful reception hall! Faith and Greg were an awesome couple and they had a beautiful ceremony along with their daughters. It was a large bridal party and they were full of fun at the reception. I loved the fall colors of burnt orange and cream in the flowers and the calla lilly's were my favorite. They played a fun crazy game with two lines passing the cucumber that was hilarious! It was a beautiful sunny day for Holly and Mike's wedding at the Hidden Valley Golf Course in the Corona/Norco area. The bride and groom had a western theme with all the trimmings.
Holly and Mike looked so happy out by the lake after the ceremony. They were great troopers for the photos even when it started getting windy and cooler as the sun went down. Holly looked beautiful in her dress and I loved her choice of shoes! There was some great country line dancing from all the Norco guests at the reception! We had a great afternoon taking engagement photos of Mike and Vanessa at a Temecula Winery! They chose Leonesse Cellars for the majority of the shoot but we did stop in old town to take a few shots before leaving Temecula. It was a beautiful day and Mike and Vanessa are a great fun loving couple. Vanessa looked gorgeous in all her dresses and even in her jeans and boots she was model material! This is part one of their engagement shoot with part two to come next month. Mike's a professional chef so we have some special things planned in the kitchen! We can't wait for their wedding next June 22, 2012!

We had a great time photographing Esther and Fred's 50th anniversary party. We have photographed their family and grandchildren over the years and they are the sweetest couple! We made a photo poster collage of their original wedding photos after we had restored and retouched the originals. The photo was displayed on an easel and added to the celebration of the day. The room and tables were decorated beautifully. Their daughter Patty did a beautiful job arranging everything! Finally, their grandson, with help from his girlfriend on one song, did an incredible job singing a few of Fred and Esther’s favorite songs! Watch for him on Broadway one day! July 1st was a beautiful day to photograph Erica and Dennis' wedding at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Long Beach. We started with the bride and her gorgeous daughter at the Naples Peninsula area. We took some nice photos of them along the coast despite the wind. From there we moved on to the church grounds. For a small wedding, Erica and Dennis had a lot of family and friends in attendance. After many group and family photos, we finally got Erica and Dennis to pose for some gorgeous bride and groom photos. The grounds were beautiful, the lighting just perfect, and the bride and groom radiant! Thank you both for allowing us to photograph your amazing day! Best wishes!

Holly and Michael are a very fun couple and we had a great time creating their engagement photos! Mike had built the tack shed which made for a wonderful background. Holly provided the horses and twin kittens. Gunner cooperated with having his photo taken as long as I rattled his oats bucket! Bryan and Arwen were married last Friday at Canyon Crest Country Club in Riverside. It was a cloudy day and rain was in the forecast. What wasn't expected was the hail that came pouring down as Arwen was just starting to walk down the aisle! Arwen was so beautiful even with the hail falling on her and Bryan during the ceremony. They were so good natured and took it all in stride to make it a memorable and beautiful ceremony. After we weren't sure about taking pictures out in the rain storm but it cleared up nicely and as you can see from the photos we got some beautiful moments captured from their special day. The reception was held at the Orange Crest Club in Riverside and we had a beautiful sunset. I love Arwen's antique style theme and her dress was so gorgeous! You couldn't even tell that it was wet! I love how romantic their love story is having known each other for many years in high school and finding each other again two years ago. The toasts were hilarious. I loved the "Lord of the Rings" references during Bryan's brothers toasts. They are such a cute couple. I hope you both have an awesome honeymoon in Italy!

March 5th was a beautiful day for Tommy and Stephanie's wedding. Everything was beautiful and it was great to share in their happiness! Being high school sweethearts and reuniting later in life made it even more special! I love how they played the "Brady Bunch" theme after the ceremony as they walked down the aisle with their family! I also loved all the details. Stephanie used broaches from her Grandmother's collection to make the bouquets even more memorable! The colors were gorgeous and they transformed the home into a romantic candlelit fairy tale for the reception! Here are some shots I liked from their wonderful day.

We recently photographed Vanessa and Richard's wedding in San Pedro,California. It was a sunny and beautiful day for them. It was an awesome wedding! The antique magazine style car club "The Pharaohs" came and drove them from the hotel to the church and back. It was so much fun seeing all the cars with the bridal party dressed up! The wedding was beautiful with doves released on the steps afterwards. Then we took more photos at Averill Park which is one of the prettiest parks I've been to in San Pedro with bridges and lakes! The reception at the Crowne Plaza was beautiful! The flowers were so gorgeous and I loved Vanessa's colors of Eggplant and Fuchsia with silver trim! The entire day was lovely and here are some photos I wanted to share from their day.

We had a great time taking photos of the Schlom family in Laguna beach recently. Thank goodness it was the week before the big floods when you could still get there. The shoot started with pea soup fog but ended with a lovely sunset! I love Laguna and the waves. It is one of the most peaceful places to go and relax.

Last Saturday we photographed the wedding of Diana and David in Laguna Beach. It was the worst rain storm of the year and we were prepared with umbrellas and plastic to wrap the cameras! The wedding was going to happen on the beach no matter what the weather turned out to be. When we arrived to hard sideways rain we weren't sure what we were in store for but within thirty minutes the rain had stopped and glimpses of the sun were fighting it's way out through the clouds. By the time the bride Diana arrived, looking gorgeous in her dress, the sun performed a miracle and came out for the ceremony! It was a gorgeous ceremony with no one else on the beach since the weather had kept even the surfers away! We got some great shots and here are a few favorites. By the time they left the clouds were getting thick again and it was starting to mist! They couldn't have planned it better! Best wishes together! Of course I think you already must have good luck on your side!

Baby Isolde

Little Isolde was a hard nut to crack but we did have success! She is a very sweet baby girl who also was very serious about having her picture taken! Despite a slow start we got several smiles out her by the end. This session was taken in Minnesota during some rain drizzle so she was a real trooper being out in the cold! We can't wait to see what she's like when she hits the "terrible two's"!

We had such a great time photographing Lorena and Todd's wedding last weekend! They were married on a day no one will forget 10/10/10 which is also supposed to bring the couple much good luck in the future! Their wedding took place at Eagle Glenn Golf Course in Corona. The location was gorgeous with rolling hills in the background! It was one of the hottest days for fall so far but Lorena and Todd were real troopers taking photos out on the golf course during the heat of the day! Lorena looked so beautiful in her dress. It was soft and flowing a perfect choice for the warm day.
The reception was beautiful with some rocking music! Video was taken by aeproductions@onebox.com and there were really great to work with. They followed us on the course and took video while we photographed all the special moments of the day. Here are a few shots from the big day with more to follow soon!

Went to Arizona recently and had a great time despite the 105 degree weather! Photographed some of the Allred brothers! Here are some shots of the youngest Abram, recently graduated and headed off to college at BYU! He really is a saint, of course he takes time shooting at the range weekly to take out his pressures, maybe I should try that! We attended a wedding recently as guests and long time friends of the bride. It was fun not having to work a wedding and be able to relax and enjoy the other perspective of being a guest. Of course I had to bring my camera, I just wish I had brought my bigger zoom lens but when I'm not working who wants to haul it around! Maybe next time!

June 2o, 2009 we photographed a beautiful wedding for Brianne and David at Etiwanda Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening with the weather still in the cooler range. Brianne made a beautiful bride and I loved her hot pink bridesmaid dresses. The flowers were gorgeous my favorite colors! David and Brianne are a great couple together, they are perfect together! Nicole's Quinceanera was an amazing event! We started at her home with some fun pictures of her and the girls by the pool. Then we were off to the church for the mass. It was a beautiful service. After more photos we were off to the Aquarium of the Pacific for dinner and dancing! It was a beautiful evening in Long Beach and we were able to get some photos with the Queen Mary in the background. Nicole's party had a bohemian theme which made it all the more fun! From the candy station to the harem dance with Nicole being escorted in on a throne with a canopy! It was all incredible! Here are some of the shots from her special day.

I've known Prudence since she was around three. Even back then you could tell what a great dancer she would be one day. I can't believe she's going to graduate in a few months! A few days before the wedding we had a quick 45 minutes to grap some sunset shots at the La Jolla Cove beach. There had been a short rain storm an hour earlier so the sky had some awesome cloud coverage! Despite the freezing weather Chelsea and Nathan were great sports being out there with the wind and cold! Here's a few more I took at my daughters wedding. This first photo reminds me of the book "Twilight" with Chelsea in her Bella arch pose! Chelsea fell in love with the books when she read the series and even went to the town of Volterra for a visit while she was studying in Sienna Italy this fall. I read the series after the wedding so now I know what all the "Edward" hype was about! The sunset at the Coco Palms was gorgeous. I took these a few minutes before the ring ceremony which was supposed to be outside but with the cold and the large crowds we decided inside on the dance floor was a better choice and it worked out beautifully once we had all 250 guests seated! The reception looked magical and I'll put more shots up soon.

Well, I have been wanting to put up some of my daughters wedding photos but I've had that flu bug and was worthless for over a week! Feeling much better today. So now I want to officially thank everyone involved in helping Chelsea and Nathan's wedding turn out so beautifully! As a photographer it was difficult not to have the camera in my hands "all" the time but I did get to shoot some shots at the LA LDS Temple and some at the reception at the CoCo Palms. It was a great day and I want to thank all my photographers for assisting and getting such awesome shots. Brittany Pecore at www.Bpecorephoto.com I have known for years and has blossomed into an awesome photographer. Her site has some of the shots and I have a sample of a few of hers below. I also had Jeret shooting of www.JeretSlack.com He has a great eye for details and getting some of the neat angles we might overlook. Finally Rogers long time friend from Commercial Photography Bob Staeck of www.RStaeckphotography.com was there and got some great candids! Angela and Nick had a beautiful wedding a few weeks ago. Here are a few photos from the church and Redhill park with more from the reception to come! Angela's dress and train were gorgeous! They are such a cute couple together! The church "Sacred Heart" in Etiwanda was fairly new and had beautiful stained glass throughout. Congratualtions on your new life together!

Juanita and Chad had their ceremony at Fleur De Lis in Upland. It is a beautiful chapel and it was a really neat ceremony under a chuppah! The flowers were done by Juanita's bridesmaid and were really beautiful. I love Hydrangea's and there were lots in her beautiful flowers! The reception was in Claremont at the Double tree Hotel and they had a great breakfast buffet for the meal! The origami birds and tea ceremony were some of the highlights from their special reception. Juanita looked so beautiful in her wedding dress. Here are some photos from their beautiful day!

Frank and Gabriela had a beautiful sunset wedding at Grand Traditions on Friday November 7th. It was a lovely evening and Gabriela had on one of my all time favorite dresses! She looked gorgeous! I love weddings at Grand Tradition. There's always something new to see and there are so many lovely spots there. There was a wild swan there this time. The swan even tried to bite my foot while I was walking by the bridge! The reception room was beautiful and it was fun to see Gabriela and Frank getting loose and having so much fun dancing! A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of shooting Ria and Dwights wedding down in Laguna Beach at the beautiful Tivoli Too! We started with Ria in her hotel room in Laguna. There was some exciting moments with the missing purse that had the car keys Ria needed to drive to the wedding and then Ria getting locked out of the room with her dress inside! Everything fell into place though and with a car ride from the best man everything started on time! It will make for some great stories to tell your kids one day! The evening wedding at Tivoli was gorgeous with all the lights and the tent sent up for the reception. The lighting in the tent was so beautiful, it really made the room stand out. Ria you looked gorgeous in your dress and even Marshy your puppy was adorable in her outfit! Dwight was handsome as ever in his Tux. Laisa and Phil flew in from Utah to be married in the San Diego Temple. Here are some photos from the Temple grounds. It was a beautiful day but we did have the wind to deal with! Larisa and Phil make a darling couple! Congratulations!

Larisa and Phil La Jolla Beach Portraits

Larisa and Phil had their photos taken at La Jolla beach the night before their wedding. Although we only had about 2o minutes before the sun went down, and we had dark cloud coverage for sunset, we were still able to get some gorgeous shots of the bride alone and awesome photos of both of them! I loved the custom bouquet they made for Larisa. The seashells in it were perfect for the beach lover she is. They were such a funny couple to photograph. You can really tell they are in love with all the cute faces they make at each other. The seal at the end of the shoot made for a fun ending.
The wedding the next day at the San Diego Temple was gorgeous. Not a single cloud that day. I will have some of those photos up next but meanwhile here are some from the beach sitting.

Gabriella and Frank Laguna Beach Engagement

Gabriella and Frank chose to have their enagement photos taken down in beautiful Laguna Beach, California! We started up at the Montage Hotel and then worked our way down along the coast. Frank got his pants soaked right to start from a wave! The sunset that evening was gorgeous and Frank and Gabriella looked so cute together. I can't wait for their wedding in November at Grand Traditions! They are such a fun loving couple and despite the wild wind in their hair we got some great shots! Here's a few from that afternoon.

Disneyland Engagement Photos

Nathan and Chelsea had there first date at Disneyland 18 months ago and then on their one year anniversary of dating they also went to Disneyland where later that evening he proposed. So it is only fitting that some of their engagement photos be taken there. There are so many awesome locations. We did a few rides but we loved quiet areas where the decor really stood out. Chelsea and Nathan will be married Dec 27th. Congratulations!

It was a beautiful day in Trabuca Canyon for the wedding of Terrence and Shanna. I loved her dress with the pink trim and her flowers were perfect! The Dove Canyon Courtyard was a gorgeous location for the wedding and reception. All the details that Kristen Spoon the wedding coordinator had completed were awesome! From custom made coloring books and gift bags for the children to the gorgeous chocolate fountain and decor!
