Christina and Trent LDS Los Angeles Temple Wedding

We had a beautiful sunny day for the recent wedding of Christina and Trent. We got some great family, bridal party and couple shots on the Temple grounds which turned out beautiful.  For some reason they had the sprinklers running the whole two hours we took photos there so we had to work around all the wet areas.  It was such a warm day the water felt good!  Later we met up to cover photos of their reception at the LDS church in Bellflower. The building was transformed into a lovely romantic oasis for the evening. Christine and Trent are such a cute couple. We had photographed there engagement photos a few weeks earlier in Laguna Beach and made them a beautiful sign in book with the photos. I included a shot of the book with their rings on top. It was such a fun day. Congratulations!

We had so much fun taking these family photos in Laguna Beach.  We were near the Montage Hotel and and had beautiful weather for this family sitting.  We did various large group poses and also smaller groupings and individuals poses. Here are a few samples from a fun loving family!

April and Al

Congratulations to April and Al for wining an engagement sitting from the Bridal show we were at recently.  We took some photos of the two of them locally at a park near their home. Poor Al got bit by a few mosquitoes and his cheek started to puff up, (photo shop hid the evidence) but he was a real trooper and continued with the photo sitting. They are such a cute couple and we wish them the best.

A toast to the happy couple!

It was a gorgeous day on May 17 to be photographing Vanessa and Oscar's wedding.  Roger and I split up our shooting gear to cover the getting ready shots. I stayed with Vanessa and the girls at her house while Roger was with Oscar and his brother at the apartment. We both got some great getting ready shots and everyone was so excited. 

 The wedding was at St Martin De Porres Catholic Church in Yorba Linda. We have photographed in there chapel before and each time I am amazed at how beautiful it is.  After the ceremony we took a few photos inside the church and then we were off to Huntington Beach for the gorgeous reception at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa.  We took photos around the grounds for a little bit but headed to the reception pretty quickly so the couple could enjoy their friends and family at the reception.  Oscar and Vanessa are such a fun, caring couple.  Sadly her Grandfather had just passed the week before and they made sure there was a special place of honor for him and that her Grandma and Uncle were taken care of. One of the highlights of the evening was when her special Uncle caught the garter and everyone lifted him up and carried him around the room. His smile and joy was priceless.  We also enjoyed how much fun Vanessa and Oscar were getting into the dancing.  Vanessa pulled her hair into a ponytail so she could rock and roll!  Now that's my kind of party!  Congratulations to a lovely couple who we know will bring much joy and happiness together.
